Favorite Coleslaw

Dressing: 3/4 c sugar
1 c cider vinegar
1/2 c salad oil
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard

Put all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. We make a batch and store it in the refrigerator in a pint jar. Then all you have to do is chop up some cabbage and pour it on and stir. Presto. Coleslaw.
The recipe actually calls for 1 large head cabbage, 1 red or green pepper, 1 Bermuda onion (note 3 ingredients) finely sliced or diced. But most of the time we just chop up some cabbage and pour on the dressing.
